Hundreds of thousands of people pass through the streets of Bratislava every day. The capital collects pedestrian crossing data through counting devices in three places – on Starý Most (Counter Starý Most), on Dvořák´s Riverfront (Counter Riverfront) and on Dolnozemská street in Petržalka (Counter Dolnozemská).
These devices make it possible to monitor not only the total number of pedestrian crossings in each place, but also the development trends across periods and individual places. The devices are multi-sensor. In addition to the number of pedestrians, they also collect information on the number of cyclists on the air quality at a given location.
